Hello November! As a team, we really wanted to support an important and local cause this holiday season. After bouncing around a few ideas at our latest team meeting, we’ve found an excellent opportunity to make a local impact! This November, we are going to sponsor one local family in need’s Christmas Day for every home bought or sold with us this month. As we are 5 days into November and already have 6 homes under contract, we are looking forward to making Christmas extra special for as many families as possible!
We have chosen to work with the Caring Neighbour Program through SHARE Family & Community Services, a non-profit organization focused on residents of the Port Moody, Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam, New Westminster and adjacent communities. They will help match us with families in need and put together a basket containing Christmas Day breakfast, lunch, AND dinner as well as new toys for any little ones! We truly appreciate the support our local communities have given us and absolutely LOVE this opportunity to give back and spread some holiday cheer!
Christmas time is such a joyous season, but for many who struggle to make ends meet it can be very difficult to enjoy this time. We hope to make an impact on as many families as we can as well as raise awareness about the programs available to help local families in need.
